RECRUITMENT

   Practice Nurse 

We are looking for a qualified nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Langport Surgery. The vacancy is ifor 25.5 hours per week.

Previous practice nursing experience is essential with excellent clinical skills, competent in all usual treatment room tasks, including baby immunisations. Experience of managing chronic disease is very desirable.

  • Strict confidentiality
  • Practice nurse experience 2+ years
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
  • Friendly and professional manner
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility to work additional hours to cover colleagues
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of the wider practice team

Hours: 25.5 hours per week

Monday                 8.30-1.00 (4.5)     2.00– 5.00 (3)

Wednesday           8.30 – 1.00 (4.5)  2.00 – 6.30 (4.5)

Thursday               8.30 – 1.00 (4.5)  2.00 – 6.30 (4.5)

                               

The successful applicant will be required to work evenings and Saturdays as part of the Improved Access scheme. Evenings and weekends are paid at a higher rate.
